[There's a woman asleep, quite soundly, in a bed in the house. This may or may not be usual or not, but the bed belongs to a man named Yuri Lowell and the sleeping woman thinks he might be dead and that they both are in Terca Lumires.]

[She turns in sleep, freeing pinned wings and knocking her journal to the floor.]

[voice. that night.]

[The tone is pleasant, pace even, absolutely no indication given that she's been here for only a few hours.]

Has anybody found a spear recently? I've lost mine, and I'd quite like it to be returned to me.

[Judith has some frustration to kill with it.]

[When Yuri re-entered his room after his daily battle dome trip, he didn't initially notice anything wrong. He did see a tinge of blue from the corner of his eye on his bed, but he figured Repede was probably sleeping on it again. ... But, of course, he only had that thought for about a second as he takes the time to actually look.

And when he does, his mind goes completely blank. He doesn't even notice that he just noisily dropped his sword on the floor.]

... Judy?

[So many questions were going through his mind at this point. Did she remember? If she did, would she hate him for what happened to Jonah? If she didn't, what was he supposed to do? Should he hide everything from her if she doesn't? Act as if nothing's wrong? Does he avoid her, does he ... man, what does he even do?

At the moment, he has absolutely no answers for any of those. But he knew he'd need to come up with at least one soon. Real soon.]

[She hears a voice, and is instantly awake. Her hand reaches down towards the knife she usually keeps sheathed but, no need. It's just Yuri.]

You're up earlier than me.

[But a frown - something's wrong. As she sits up and reaches a hand behind her back, she grabs a fistful of silky feathers and traces the ridge of a bone that meets her back. The frown deepens, but Judith says nothing.]

Ah ... yeah, I guess so.

[That may have come out a little awkwardly, and he knows it. Her reaction to the wings is difficult to read, but, well, Judy's always been a tough read. It doesn't seem as if she recognizes them, but ...

... He really needs to say something aside from a general, more or less blurted out response. Maybe ...]

Hey, uh ... do you know where you are right now?

From what I've heard, there's a weapons' shop in the plaza.

[Voice]

There is a particular one I'm looking for. And I'm not certain they would take my money.

[Voice]

However odd it may sound, they .. accept no currency, here. And from what I've heard, many people find their personal belongings in the shops here. You may get lucky.

A spear? How did you lose it? Ah, where did you last saw it?

[Voice]

So many questions..

It was with me when I went to sleep last night and was gone this morning, with the rest of my possessions.

Oh...oh! Then they're probably at the shops down in the plaza! Don't worry, you won't have to pay for them again. They just show up there when you first arrive here.

I haven't seen a spear...but it could be in the weapons shop! I lost all my things when I got here and found them there, so maybe your spear is too.

[Voice]

Hmm...

I suppose a thief would sell what he stole. Thank you for the help.

[A beat.] Was it difficult to get your belongings back?

[Voice]

You're welcome. [He likes to help!]

No, not really. Apparently nothing costs anything here, so all I had to do was find my things. There's a lot of stuff to look through.

[Voice]

A spear? Are you a warrior of some sort?

[Voice]

I'm not certain I'd call myself one, though many warriors do use spears.

[Voice]

You could always check at that Weapon's Shop place. Or you could always trade in your normal spear for a stronger one.

[Voice]

Spears? Yeah. I've got spears here. Lots of them. Which one's yours?

[Voice]

That's rather hard to tell without seeing them in person.

Perhaps we can meet?

[And if you're the person who took it, you're in for a fun surprise.]

Perhaps, though, you can tell me where the weapons shop is?

[Accidental Voice]

[It's not often that Raine responds to the New Feathers, unless something about them catches her attention. So it's almost an accidental response that she gives here -- if the woman doesn't remember being here before, it could quickly turn awkward.

... And Yuri is probably already on top of the situation. And by the sounds of other responses, she's headed in the right direction to sort out that spear business.]

I'm...?

[She doesn't like this indirect communication. It makes things more frustrating.]

[Estelle was taking an afternoon nap, but the sound of voices in the living room eventually rouses her. Yuri... and someone else? In her half-asleep state she doesn't wish to interrupt them, so she dozes until Yuri's voice stops - then finally gets up and leaves the room.

Needless to say, she wasn't expecting to see this visitor.]

...Judith?

[Since then, Judith has taken a seat on the couch, her eyes shut in deep thought. It's a bit of a new situation to have to process.]

[But, she looks up a familiar voice, giving Estelle a little smile.]

Yuri said you were here. Good to see you.

[Voice]

[That voice... he'd recognize such a lovely lady anywhere.]

Is that you Judith?

[Voice]

[And, likewise, she wouldn't forget his voice. A little chuckle.]
